Student Services
The purpose of our department is to serve the students. We also facilitate, distribute and record leave of absences. When a student has an unforeseen circumstance that prevents them from attending class, they or their personal references can contact our department for policies, forms and procedures that can excuse their absence. We can fax, email or mail the request for leave to either the student or their personal references. In addition, the forms can be found below. Please print the forms and fax them to (713) 583-8983. Other services we provide are placement, support groups and alternative funding. There are times in everyone’s life where we need some help.
The Student Service Department also provides placement for our upcoming graduates. Almost every other week, we receive requests from barber & beauty shops that are in need of newly graduated barbers and cosmetologists. It helps the student reach the graduation finish line when they know that there is a department that is already setting them up for employment success. We even have graduates return, requesting for job assistance. All students active and graduates can always enjoy the assistance from the Student Service Department.
